jiwa kosong..

Jiwaku merasa kosong kala ini..
Tiada bermaya,tiada upaya…
Kenapa hati ini seakan tiada erti??
Kenapa sendu sering menjengah diri??
Hatiku bertanya??
Mungkinkah tiadanya pelangi untukku??
Atau pelangi itu belum memunculkan diri…
Sendatnya fikiranku memikirkan sesuatu yang belum pasti..
Yang nyata aku tetap sendiri..
Walau di mata berjuta manusia
Namun di hatiku bagai tiada sesiapa..

Persoalan yang pasti akan menyakitkan jiwa…
Atau sebenarnya memang jiwaku yang sakit??
Ditambah dengan masalah yang dicipta sendiri??
Ceria wajahku menutup segala..
Namun di hati hanya luka yang kian menghiris..

Berjalan aku di lorong yang gelap gelita..
Merangkak-rangkak..
Mencari aluran cahaya..
Disebalik sinar yang kian malap..

Ya Allah…
Bantulah hambaMu ini..
Jangan biarkan aku terperangkap disini…
Tunjukkan cahaya itu..
Agar aku bisa terselamat…
Walau hanya cebisan..
Tetap aku menginginkannya…

Hati yang masih mencari sebuah kepastian…

during anasthesia..

here's a lot of thing that we don't want to hear, especially when we're under 'disabled' mode. Anaesthetic take away pain, but sometime it bring new pain to the patients ears while the surgery is going on:
  • You better save that. We'll need that for the autopsy.
  • Well, this should be a good experiment for all of us here.
  • Wow!! That's incredible! Now can you make his leg twitch?
  • Could you stop that beating thing? I can't concentrate here...
  • Wait a minute, if this is his spleen, then what's that?
  • Everybody stand back! I just lost my contact lens.
  • What's this? Never seen this here before.
  • This patient has already had children, am I right?
  • Did this patient sign the organ donation card?

I think our surgeons are not that cruel, right? Hopefully...

depression

I learned about depression during my training in neuropsychiatry deparment and u know what it made me freak out.WHY?WHY?i had my reason ok..

1)as a medical student we continuously were in the state of mental exhaustion with the workload.
2)it can affect any peoples at any age but more common to occur in female especially middle age female and i'm only 23 years old.
3)It is said sometime we ourselves didn't realised that we have depression as we felt normal like other person but peoples around us noticed we had some problems.

Depression should be treated like other diseases because it is not normal for people to have it. In fact they are so dangerous, as they will cause many other systemic diseases including death. The saddest thing that could happen is suicide. .

So what are the signs of depression?
If the person showed five of these signs for two weeks continuously, he or she is regarded to have major depression (major depressive disorder):
  1. Feeling sadness, empty or anxious mood for almost every day.
  2. Lost or declined of interest or happiness toward activities that were once he/she enjoyed.
  3. Significant loss of body weight and loss of appetite. Or conversely could happen, overeating and overweight.
  4. Sleep problem or insomnia, over-sleeping, not enough sleep.
  5. Problem in body movement or psychomotor.
  6. Feeling tired, fatigue, feeling "slowed down" or sluggish.
  7. Feeling worthless and guilty for his/her doing.
  8. Having problem to think, to concentrate or to decide.
  9. Continuously visualizing death and suicidal feeling.

Important to mention, depression not only experience by adults, children suffers from it too. Too much pressure, unrealistic goal and bad experience could result in depression. So,support from peoples around are very important in avoiding the occuring or maybe curing it.

So,if anyone here had manifest this symptoms please don't hesitate to seek for an advice from the medical personnel or maybe a caunselor.Insyallah, majority of the cases  can be treated unless you yourself doesn't want to go to hospital.
